The other day, I wrote about the "first things first" mentality that I try to keep in order to make sure I spend my energy on what matters.
There's another component of this that I want to point out.
We can't reap the rewards of our efforts before actually doing the work.
Ever get so worked up dreaming about goals that you forget to actually work toward them? Or, they end up seeming so big that you never start, overwhelmed from the beginning.
Don't feel bad. It happens to everyone.
We naturally enjoy fantasizing about all of the things we can accomplish....
My biggest takeaway from Monday's live session was the need to do what we say we're going to do for ourselves.
When we identify an action as a priority, we need to make sure we follow through and do it!
Otherwise, we get in the habit of not upholding our commitments to ourselves.
Here are three...
Do you ever find yourself not doing something because you're waiting for the right time?
Maybe you want to "do it once and do it right." Maybe you're even down on yourself for doing something imperfectly.
It's completely OK to make it messy. It's far more important to get your priorities...
